1281 - 4/29/2013 3:51:40 PM - antiestowe@gmail.com - I am wondering if you can help me locate infomation on my great great great grandfather John Taylor, who married Eliza Arthur. I have always been told that they were native americans. I believe they were Choctaw Indians, not exactly sure. Out of this union they had sons "Charles James Taylor" who was my great grandfather and "John Taylor". They possibly could have had other children. Charles James Taylor immigrated to Bermuda in the 1800's and married Jane Ann Alick. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer me. Thanks!! Ianthia - hailing from the Bermuda Island of Bermuda.

1118 - 3/14/2012 6:49:16 AM - craigandladeen@gmail.com - I am searching for information on my Taylor line. I need information for a Thomas N. Taylor who was my great grandfather. He would have been born around 1853. He was living with his mother, Manerva (Bell) Taylor in his grandmothers home (Eliza Bell) in District 2 Alcorn, Mississippi in the 1880 census. Both his mother, Manerva and grandmother, Eliza were widows. Also living in the home was Manerva's sister Paralee (Bell) Beard who was also a widow. The census states Thomas N Taylor was born in Missouri, his father was born in NC and his mother Manerva was born in AL. Thomas N Taylor married Paralee Broadaway who was 16 on the 1880 census in Alcorn living with her sister Emaline (Broadaway) Bell. Emaline was married to Manerva's brother Cornelius C Bell. Thomas and Paralee had a son Earl Thomas Taylor 1884 in Mississippi and then moved to Arkansas, Saline, Sevier area where the remaining children were born. Paralee is a widow in the 1910 census in Saline, Arkansas with 4 of her children at home. In the 1860 census Manerva (Manney Tayler) and Thomas are living with David and Eliza Bell in Tishomingo Mississippi. Also is a sister Ann E. "Tayler". Please, I would appreciate any information in tracing this Taylor famly line. I would very much like to know who Thomas' father was and the line back. Please if anyone connects let me know. Living next to the Bell family in the 1860 census is an Eliza Taylor age 31 and family. Could Manerva have married a Taylor connected to her? Any information is appreciated. Thank you.
