The Taylor family says in may things that George was injured by a tree falling on him and died young and penniless. Which is not true. He may have been injured but he went to N. Carolina and Georgia and overseed several plantations. Married Mary Everet (possibly Campbell) They had one son named Toliver who died at the battle of Franklin Tenn in the civil war. Toliver had 9 children one was my great grandmother who did leave records of this. I have checked this out with others on ancestry and this is the true story of what happened to George. But I don't know why and feel there is more to the story. I am looking for family pictures and any information others have. Our's was burned with the houses after the civil war. Thank you
