Richard Dee Chase (1924-2000)

Richard, a grandson of Charles Wills Chase and Amanda Rosina Taylor (daughter of John Taylor & Eleanor Burkett), was born 30 Oct 1924 in Ogden to Adelbert LeRoy Chase and Nancy Hattie Gibson Chase. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II -aboard the cruiser the U.S.S. Columbia. Richard was married in Ogden 8 Feb 1947. He worked at Hill Air Force for 32 years, beginning as a tool and die mechanic and later as logistics manager in the Minute Man Missile program. He died 7 Apr 2000 at his home in Ogden, Weber, Utah. Richard was survived by his wife, four daughters, and 6 grandchildren. Burial was 12 Apr 2000 in the Ogden City Cemetery.
