Charlotte "Lottie" Cherry (1820-1899)

Charlotte "Lottie" Cherry, daughter of William Cherry, Jr. and Frances Taylor, was born 30 September 1820, Warren County, Kentucky. Married 14 May 1842, Obadiah Milam. Charlotte died 11 May 1899, Warren County, Kentucky.

Obadiah Milam, born 31 December 1822, in Kentucky. He was in the Civil War. Obadiah served as a Private, in Co. A., Ky Inf. 11th. He was discharged 21 June 1861 at Nashville, Tennessee, due to "consumption and general debility." Obadiah married (2) Hester Ann Johns, born 9 September 1846, died 21 December 1924. Obadiah died 6 March 1908, Warren County, Kentucky.

Obadiah Milam and Charlotte Cherry's children were: William S., John Richardson, Joseph A. Milam, Solomon Newton, Cicelia Frances "Celia", Stephen Martin, Martha Washington, Sarah Margaret, Hezakiah Carr and Wesley J.

Lottie and Obadiah were both buried at the Riverside Cemetery, Warren, Kentucky.
