Samuel David White, son of William Lawson White and Charlotte Taylor, was born 1 July 1830 at Warren County, Kentucky.

He married 10 December 1863, Mary Jane ("Mollie") Neal at Warren County. They had 11 children: William H., Alonzo ("Lonnie") Pleasant, Ada F., Minnie, Burley, Annie, Mannie, Mayme ("Mamie"), Blanche Lewis, Lillie C. and Clyde White.

Mary Jane Neal was born 23 May 1848 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Pleasant Neal and Dorcas Ann Spencer.

Samuel David White was present at the October 1909 Taylor Family Reunion in Richardsville, Warren, Kentucky.

He died 28 December 1913 at Riverside, Warren, Kentucky. He was buried at the graveyard on Lon White's farm, near Riverside, Warren, Kentucky. She died 22 March 1887 at Warren County, Kentucky. She was also buried at the graveyard on Lon White's farm.
