Sarah M. ("Sallie") White, daughter of William Lawson White and Charlotte Taylor, was born 10 March 1827 at Warren County, Kentucky.

She married 13 September 1847, Bedford M. Lamastus, at Warren County. Her consent was by her father, William L. White. His consent at the marriage was by his guardian, John R. White. (He was the brother of William Lawson White and he was born 2 June 1798 and married 8 October 1820, Anthoretta M. J. Stevens. He died 18 June 1825, 41 years old, 2 months, 21 days.)

Bedford M. Lamastus was born 11 October 1826 in Kentucky. Bedford M. must have lost his parents by 1847.

Bedford M. Lamastus and Sarah M. White had 10 children: William Luther, Joseph Marvin, Hezekiah ("Kiah"), Oscar Allen, Sarah Jane, Charlotte, Mary Margaret ("Maggie"), John Houston, Fannie Belle and Annie Lamastus.

Bedford died I January 1900, probably at Warren County. Sarah died 12 May 1900, probably at Warren County.
