OGDEN – Our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, Owen Holley Wade, 90, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017, peacefully surrounded by his family of natural causes. He was born on June 22, 1926 in Warren, Utah, a son of Melbourne Monroe and Deliah Holley Wade. He has lived his entire life on 1400 North in Warren, Utah.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

Owen married his wife, Elaine Fowers on May 12, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2012.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in the Northwest States Mission.

Owen was farmer all his life. He loved sports, a huge Jazz Basketball fan and loved being with his family.

The family would like to thank Canyon Hospice and their nurses and aides.

Surviving are three children, nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elaine, one grandson, Devon Wade, one brother and three sisters.

Funeral services Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 12 Noon at Warren LDS Church, 856 North 5900 West. A viewing held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Interment in the Warren Cemetery, where military honors by the Box Elder County Honor Guard.
