Mar. 17th--"Sunday. Funeral services were held today in our
meetinghouse.
There was a large attendance. The speakers were Jos. Hall,
Pres.Shurtleff,
Lorin Farr, and Apostle John H. Smith. All spoke highly of her
andsaid that a
more faithful wife and Mother does not live that she was a
faithfulLatter-day
Saint. About 60 carriages followed her remains to the Ogden
Cemetery.The

and Harriet Heath. Her father read a Voice of Warning, was
convertedwithout
hearing a sermon by Mormon Elder and he was baptized in 1845 by
RobtHeath.
Started for Utah in 1850, Mar. about 15th. On 31 Mar. at St.
Joseph,MO, her
father and 3 sisters died of cholera. The widow came on to Utah
thatyear.
She, Sarah J. married Wm. B. Lake, 24 Dec. 1850. Located at
NorthOgden. Wm.
B. Lake died Mar. 28, 1858, killed by Indians. She moved South andwas
married to Pleasant G. Taylor. Sarah J. was baptized in the
PlattRiver by
Joseph Taylor. Confirmed by Lewis Harvey. Lost Loren and Geo.
Allen.Wm. B.
Jr. lost his wife Ida Bingham and lived with his mother 2 years
alsoboy babe.
Eliza Ann lost her husband. She and 3 children lived with her
mother8 years.
Her bro. Allen lived with her for 2 yrs after the death of
hismother.
Alexander because of the illness of his wife, he made it his home
4years
with his mother. Josiah and wife died and she became a mother to his6
children and kept part of them for 4 years.
She bestowed loving care on her husband for the last 8 or 10
yearsof his
life and he died 16 May 1917. Walter lost his wife and she was also
amother
