Ferguson, early genealogist of Warren County who was raised
inRichardsville on
the old Allen Taylor place, Samuel and Mary Ann Cherry were
bothburied at the
Taylor Family Cemetery, near Richardsville, Warren, KY. She made
alist of
burials there and they were on the list. (The tombstones could
havebeen
knocked down now in 1995.) Mary Ann TAYLOR and Samuel CHERRY had the following children:

She was married to Elijah UPTON on 29 Aug 1826 in , Warren, Kentucky. Elijah UPTON was born on 31 Aug 1782 in , Montgomery, Virginia. Note: "Elijah Upton was a very enterprising man in the Richardsville
Community. He has the Masonic emblem on his gravestone. The
MasonicLodge at
Richardsville is named for him. He is one of the original Board
ofTrustees of
the Green River Union Meeting House, the first church founded."

Ferguson.) In my study of this family, it appears to me that
Elijahwas
greatly respected by our Taylor family. Elijah was also in the War
of1812.
Elijah and Mary Ann had no children together.
